Hello

To build this model I've used two kits- Revell 04670, and over 50-years old(!) Airfix kit. Engines with nacelles, propellers and exhausts are taken from Airfix. Front plexiglass-handmade, some corrections in ailerons, fuselage front, wingtips, tailwheel. Paint: Gunze C, decals: Xtradecal.
640 RAF sqn, Leconfield 1944.
Two sets, and only one completed model seems to be poor productivity (ha, ha!), but I enjoyed the build.

Thanks for Your opinions.

Beautiful! Always liked the Halifax over the Lancaster.

Contrary to Merlin powered versions, Halfaxes with Hercules engines were called proudly "the first after Lanc". It was a great praise, of course. I like this plane too.

Bloody lovely hal bregg!

As for there being a reasonable 1/48th Halifax bomber! I have four FM kits in my stash, cost me £100 for all four.. bargin me thinks.
