Does anyone have the list of Halifax bomber serial numbers, or know of an online source with such data?

I have reference sources containing the Stirling and Lancaster serial numbers, but not the Halifax. I'd like to know what serial numbers applied to which Halifax bomber model.

As would I. I had a Lancaster site for serial numbers years ago but the guy shut it down due to people selling his work online

You can find the Lancaster serial numbers in Avro Lancaster — The Definitive Record by Harry Holmes and Avro Lancaster by Richard Marks. (The library system here has both in circulation.)

Stirling bomber serial numbers are included in Michael J.F. Bowyer's book The Stirling Bomber.

The book Handley Page Halifax by Anthony L. Stachiw and Andrew Tattersall is a fairly detailed examination of the aircraft, but doesn't include the serial numbers. Hence this thread.

There are a number of web sites with the serial number lists plus Robertson's British Military Aircraft Serials.

R9535 to R9540 were used as pattern aircraft, they were not built.

A memo dated 4 April 1944 indicates two mark III delivered on 19 February and one delivered in March 1944 meant to be built by Fairey were actually delivered as sets of components to Handley Page and so never actually built. It is understood this was done with a total of five aircraft, LK870, LK872, LK881, LK882 and NA507 which have blank contract card and delivery log entries. Removing these five results in agreement with the MAP total.

The final 30 mark III ordered from Rootes, NA281 to NA310, were officially completed as A.III that is as glider tugs and/or paratrooper transports.

If you want a full list let me know.

Lancasters have a small number of differences between sources about whether some aircraft were mark I or III.

Stirlings, apart from the 11 destroyed on the production line there is whether EF399 was the last mark I or first mark III built by Shorts.

Strictly speaking, I'd only need the serials for the Halifax II and V.

A few squadron ORBs only list the aircraft flown by serial number during the time it was flying the early model Halifax. I'd like to be able to specify whether it was the II or V when recording the bomb loads.
