Hey well tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day. A day we have set aside to give thanks for all our blessings, It has been call Turkey day as that has been chosen as the traditional dinner for Thanksgiving Day. I know some will prefer other chooses such as Duck or Goose, So I thought we should offer up some of each, all brought to you by Grumman! The TBF/TBM Avenger was nicknamed the Turkey due to it large sizes and huge wing. It first say combat at Midway in June of 1942, didn't far well, though it was a victim of the situation coming in as a torpedo bomber and the fighters already down low. Used as a level or glide bomber, but was still used as designed as a torpedo bomber.

Operated as the JRF by the US Navy and the OA-9 I'm offering you all the Goose.

The J2F Duck was used by the US Navy and Coast Guard in may roles from the mid 30 through the end of the war.

Donivanp Donivanp - Here in California we all got together and agreed to have Thanksgiving today...

So from all of us here, wishing you all in Texas a Happy Thanksgiving, even if it is a day early. :)
Yeah, I get that, we're a bit different out this away. We keep moving things out so we always have something to look forward to. Nah actually I made this yesterday for a post on D&S.
