Hello all, this aircraft was flown by Flt. Ldr. Frank L. Lawlor, of the 2nd Sqdn AVG.
At some point, it was transferred over to the 3rd Sqdn, probably after the fall of
Rangoon.

I cannot find any information on who flew P-8156 during its time with the 3rd Sqdn
through the usual resources. Just pictures showing this Hawk with the 3rd.

I did find pilot T.R. Smith flew it, but with 74FS/23rd FG.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Quite possibly Bob Prescott. In the famous colour photo R.T. Smith took of four Tigers flying in formation, "....his son, Brad Smith, who described the photo this way: "The photograph was taken by Dad, probably from #47, on May 28, 1942 near the Salween River Gorge. The shot includes #68 flown by Arvid Olson, #46 flown by Bob Prescott, #49 flown by Tom Hayward, #24 flown by Ken Jernstedt, and #74 flown by Link Laughlin....."
