Hi All,

Garden of England resident here, with a real interest in WW2 aircrew, particularly in the early parts of the war. I have bulging bookshelves full of memoirs which is where my passion lies. Social history rather than the technical side.

I've left posts on WW2talk for over a decade now, but thought I'd belatedly look for a forum that's specifically aviation related.

Cheers Rob, I can normally be of use suggesting first hand accounts when people are after a bit of info to flesh out cold stats! Should probably have clarified I'm talking about RAF memoirs here, mainly service in Britain, France, Malta, Greece, Western Desert, Italy. Being in Kent with all its Battle of Britain associations, the secondhand bookshops usually have some good stuff in them, so I've been picking up all sorts since I was a teenager.
