umm fairly new to this stuff so please bear with me.

How does one create illustrations like below:

What are they called? Aircraft Profile? I want to customise them, is that possible?

and it got me thinking.. alot of you guys are into gaming and you guys customise your planes as well? right? can such graphics be created to illustrate any aircraft or are there limitations? I don't want to make a video.. i would just like to create a pic of a Mustang in an airfield in the pacific.

i appreciate any feedback/help. Sorry if this is a bit off topic
