Help to Id this plane part.

I need some help to identification of this plane part.
I know it's from a plane that crashed north of Tilburg/ Holland .
but some 27 did crash around Tilburg so from which one is this part?
Who can help please ?

Sorry I cannot help directly but may I suggest you contact Welcome to Aviation Archaeology.
They have a page on inspection stamps but the 5B in a circle does not show - they may still know.
It is hard to tell which of the numbers is a Part Number but none ring any bells to me

Hello Mitasol,

On the second picture there is a 5 B print , would this suggest that you know from which plane it is ??

Unfortunately no. I would hazard a guess that it is British but that is only a gut feeling so must be treated with extreme caution
The clip below is an inspection stamp which shows who made and inspected the part, and often the aircraft, if made by the aircraft manufacturer.

It may be part of a vendor component, like a turret for example, in which it could be from any type aircraft which used that vendor part.

At this stage the inspection stamp is possibly your best clue, unless someone knows which of all the other numbers is the part number. The Brits had a habit of stamping the raw material batch number into parts which is why I suspect them but others may well have done the same. Why a third number is beyond me. I am also guessing the MOD above 790 indicates "modification 790" (whatever that was) was carried out on the part, another Brit habit to mark the part.
