Help with crashed aircraft ID, 1940 Poland

What type of aircraft is this wreck? It looks like there is a partial British marking on the fuselage, but I'm not certain that's what it is. Photo was taken in Poland, 1940.

I doubt the image was taken in Poland and what is more in 1940. I'm sure that is not a British kite but the French SNCASE Romano 82 and the shot was taken somewhere in France in 1940 rather.

Thanks for clearing that up. "Pozan 1940" was written on the reverse, and I didn't know there was also a Pozan, FRANCE.

Pozan is not Poznan ( in Polish - Poznań ), unless that's the "Posen" in German.

IMHO just a mistake getting confused. Quite often used as the marketing gimmick by the ebay sellers.

Could you post the link to the image on the Ebay?
