Hello all, I'm a new member and plead relative ignorance regarding aircraft parts. I have accrued extensive knowledge of WW11 military vehicles since I bought my first Ford GPW Jeep back in 1964 but have had little opportunity to get involved with the aircraft side of things much as they have always interested me. I've had a couple of tail wheels in the shed for as long as I can remember, and I'd very much appreciate categorical identification. I'm not sure even where they originally came from but there might be a clue in that I was born and lived just a couple of miles from the old Longbridge Austin Plant which I understand played it's part in aircraft production/repair in the Longbridge East Works at Cofton Hackett. Judging by answers to similar enquiries on this forum am I right in surmising that these, with DRG no. AHO 5000/2
might be from a MK1 Hurricane? The hubs are the same but the tyres are different, only one of which is stamped Electrically Conducting. Any help much appreciated, thanks.
