i am after anything on J RICHARD GULICK 33852286 He was a tail gunner part of Rudolph W Nelsons crew of the 336th bomb squadron, 95th bomb group in ww2. flew 34/5 missions.
Is there anyone who can help? and please bear in mind this is my first time doing anything like this help!

Yes this is the photo i found at find a grave so thank you very much, and if anyone can point me to more information i would be very grateful. it said he was shot down but cannot seem to find anything so far ( this thread thing is above me SORRY i'm old school but am trying to move forward LOL) so a big thank you and when everything gets to me from the states i may have a better picture.

For a start, you might want to check the 95th Bomb Group Memorials Foundation site, they've got crew lists and mission logs that often include tail gunners. The US National Archives also has mission reports you can request.
The second link I posted above shows all 34 of his missions. The first being Jan. 3, 1945 and his last being May 5, 1945. He wasn't shot down. His last two Missions where Chowhound missions, dropping food in the Netherlands. The war ended in Europe three days later.

thanks for the info i did get the list of his missions so a big thank you the shooting down lost me and thought the same but thanks once again. i like the last two being food drops so many thanks once again
