Have been an aviation buff my whole life...my father hung airplanes over my crib. He also took me to many air shows. My Uncle Jack was a side gunner on a B-17 named "Little Willie", I have made a memorial to him.I collect WWII aircraft and NASA and some space stuff. I used to build models when I was younger and recently built a Soyuz but probably dropped every piece on the floor twice. My patience and dexterity plus perfectionism prevent me from building models. I have an extensive collection of both plastic and die cast. Here is a photo of me as a young lad in front of a P-51 mustang at San Jose, CA airport many years ago...I am now 63 1/2 years old.
This site is absolutely fantastic. Would it be ok for me to share my collection many items are die cast?

Welcome to the site. I have resized your pic down and clipped a little bit. The large images can cuase a trouble with scrolling, uploading of pages for all users with slow net connection. As Airframes said the size of pics should be about 800 pixels in the width. The accepted total size can be 1600 pixels. Of course you may share your collection. I would suggest creating your own thread in the Personal Gallery section. Here is the link.

Hi Ptraney and welcome to this great group of friends and aviation connoisseurs. Surely there will be interesting things that you can share with us..
Best regards from Mexico.

Welcome aboard

BTW: The forum is about three subjects aviation (mostly WWII, but other eras are covered), bacon, and attractive women (seemingly in this order)
