Help!
I have 2 kits by HobbyBoss in 1/72 scale and the paint guides are driving me nuts!
The first kit is of a Japanese Zero type 52 and it's telling me the main colour of this plane is 'Cockpit Colour (Mitsubish)' Mr Hobby code 124.
I can see it is a shade of green but I cannot see this paintcode on any guide I have seen.I can hazard a guess that this would be Humbrol 'Cockpit Green' but can anyone confirm this for me please?

The 2nd kit is a French D.520 in the green/brown/blue camo
The Mr Hobby code for the blue is Rim76 Light blue.Does this match Humbrols 'Aircraft Blue'?

I do wonder why these companies make things so hard!
Cheers,
Tony.

According to my infor The French paint set used from 1939 could be...

Khaki ( Khaki ) - Humbrol 26 or 155 - FS34088
Green ( Vert/Vert Fonce ) - Humbrol 76 or 172/116 - FS34079
Brow ( Terre Fonce ) - Humbrol 29 - FS30118
Light Blue-Grey ( Gris Bleu Cloir ) - Humbrol 65 - FS35189
Dark Blue-Grey ( Gris Bleu Fonce ) Humbrol 79 or 144 - FS35164
Chocolate ( Brun - Chocolat ) - Humbrol 98 - FS30045
Cockpit Interior ( Gris Bleu Ciel ) - Humbrol 115 - FS34414

Concerning the Zero...It depends on if it was Army or Navy machine. Also the period of time has to be taken into consideration. So we need more details on that.

Cockpit colour for a Mitsubishi A6M5 is a Medium Green colour, approx is FS34095 lighten with a dash of white for scale effect!
