Hi there,

My great Uncle's Spitfire was shot down by Hpt Karl-Heinz Krahl (Stab. II/JG 53), on 10 March 1942 at Malta, Krahl's final victory. Is it possible to locate the combat report that Krahl would have completed?

Hope you can assist, I know this is a very long shot.

Tom

Thanks, is this a forum? or is there a website for Christoph?

I'm sorry, forgot to link. He's got social media presence on several platforms. I watch his vids on youtube, and before COVID he made regular visits to Bundesarchiv.

This is his Facebook link: Military Aviation History

This is his Youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmpahmxWXajV0-tuMMzSzAg

I don't know that he'd have an answer, but I do know that his vids display a wealth of primary-source documentation of the type you're looking for, so while he probably won't have a direct answer to your question, I bet he could steer you in the right direction. Hopefully that's helpful to you.

Awesome, thank you, I just found his Twitter page, Christoph Bergs.
