ICM - 1/48 - P-51B

Hello!

Here is another finished model. There are a lot of reviews of this kit in internet...
It is based on Tamiya's P-51B...it's quite the same kit...of course, it's not as good as the "original one", but its still a very good kit...and cheaper!
It's very recommended for those who want a good P-51B...8)

Nice model. I used this kit in the D-Day Group Build. It is based on the Tamiya kit as you say, part of the product sharing between the two outfits. Personally, having built both kits, I think it's better than the Tamiya, with some areas being improved, and, of course, a lot cheaper.

Vey interesting...I've recently bought Tamiya's kit, but I didn't put them side by side.
Good to know that ICM's could be better...8)

Actually the ICM kit is a mix of Tamiya and Accurate Minatures sets. But with some work on the model it is possible to achieve a very good final effect. It can be seen in these pictures above.
