New toonie salutes 100th anniversary of Royal Canadian Air Force
The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled in Winnipeg a new toonie, which began circulating Wednesday, highlighting the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Not a single aircraft from the WWII depicted on that coin! Shocking oversight by the RCAF! What were they thinking?! 17,000 Canadians died serving with the RCAF and RAF during WWII. They made Hurricanes, Mosquitoes and Lancasters in Canada.
