I was wondering if the photo is a recolour of a b/w pic or it's just a little faded.
 
I just found another picture. A frontal one. These pics were all taken in Albania (Scutari).

I love the Meridionali planes. My favourite is the Ro.57bis, I.M.H.O. the most stylish attack plane of the WWII.

From the period of the time my favourite are rather Fiat a/cs, CR-42 for instance.But the rest of the Italian planes look also interesting.As far as the pics are concerned I think that they were recolourized from B&W ones later.
