can someone help is after any information on what states at the bottom if this photo i think its signal core but not sure

Hi Christina,

It's the Signal Section for the airfield. Each RAF station would have a Signal Section whose job was to transcribe, send and receive signal message traffic to/from the base. Signal message traffic was the only way to send information to a wide group of recipients, thus orders from higher headquarters could be sent to every airfield simultaneously.

The RAF Signal Sections were staffed by RAF signals specialists and not by the Army Royal Corps of Signals.
