Interior stenciling P-51D

Be gentle...I spent some time searching here for this answer here before I posted it

I want to recreate the interior...cockpit, engine/gun bay, landing gear/wheelwell maintenance and use stenciling and placarding on a P-51D. Anything that's written on a control, instrument panel, radio, firewall, wheel, strut etc...I need a reference for it.

My question is...what am I looking for...a set of technical drawings, factory blueprints? What would show where all those stencils go? I don't want to expend the $$$ for a set of drawings, if it doesn't show the stencils and placards.

I just don't have a clue what to look for...

Hi Scott and welcome aboard!

Gary (aka Geedee) is building a cockpit for th P-51D so I'd suggest looking at his thread as there might be everything you need.
