Is the item WWII or Korean Vintage?

Hello,

I'm trying to ID this item. It is a light of some type that was used in a vintage aircraft, possibly the cockpit. it is approximately 3.5"x2" in size. There are no markings other than the "ON/OFF" switch.

That's a standard cockpit light found in dozens of military and commercial aircraft.
