Italian SM.79 pilot

I have no idea where this post belongs, I'm trusting the Powers That Be to move it if necessary. But I just ran across a factoid that I thought was fascinating. If you're of a certain age, you'll remember the internationally-famous Italian fashion designer Emilio Pucci. His designs were unforgettable and iconic. What I just discovered, though, was that he spent WW2 in the Italian Air Force as a torpedo bomber pilot, flying SM.79s!
