On March 5th this year, The Imperial War Museum was 100 years old.
Originally founded on March 5th 1917, in what was apparently the site of the original Bedlam 'mental' hospital at Lambeth, London, to remember and honour the losses of the still raging Great War, the IWM now has facilities at Lambeth, as well as the IWM North at Manchester, The Churchill War Rooms in London, HMS Belfast on the River Thames, London, and, of course, IWM Duxford,
Various exhibitions are planned to celebrate (?) 100 years of warfare, and further details can be found on the IWM web-sites.

Points taken and accepted - but how long will it be before some lilly-livered, do-gooder tw@t objects to the inclusion of the word 'Imperial' in the title ?
If they do, then **** off, and research why you/they/country etc are able to still survive, having been dragged from semi-civilisation, into a world that they/you/ etc would not have known - and then try to threaten with stupid ****ing terrorist actions ?!!
