James Gandolfini dead at 51: 'Sopranos' star suffers massive heart attack in Italy - NY Daily News

James Gandolfini, the New Jersey-bred actor who delighted audiences as mob boss Tony Soprano in "The Sopranos" has died following a massive heart attack in Italy, a source told the Daily News.
"Everyone is in tears," the source close to the 51-year-old TV tough guy said.

One of the best series of all times. The Sopranos was great.

James was a great actor as well. Very likeable.

Sad, since he was so young. He appeared in the exceptional film In the Loop as a supporting character, but was larger than life in it as an American general.

The Soprano's was a great show, you have to know a little bit of mob history and the Italian family life style that surrounds it. I'm waiting for the price to come down because i would love to buy the whole series.
