That shirt is all over the place. But calling it a reason for Japan's lack of faith in their PM is a little bit of a stretch.

Not so sure Tim
I think the Japanese people have every right to ask him to perform hari kiri on prime time for even considering that shirt. With a soup spoon. It would be the honourable thing to do. You can't just walk away from a shirt like that and pretend it never happened.

Well, if he was on vacation or something, then everyone should mind their own business.

But if he was doing official business, then he should look a little more professional.

...wouldn't have been a big deal if it was a vacation...

what are you saying about your fashion sense on vacation? :)

The only way that shirt wouldn't have been a big deal would be if he was caught washing his car with it. Or putting it in his dog's basket. Hey, wait - no self-respecting dog is going to be caught dead sleeping on that...

OK, using it to suffocate a burglar. No, that's not going to work either, people will want to know how it was to hand in his house. At least if he's not weaing it, it's only circumstancial...

Eh, the shirt still sucks, but it wouldn't have been a big deal if he was vacation or something along the same line.
