I agree. Interestingly, we don't see vids of life aboard IJN carriers.

I recall seeing a clip of Japanese pilots praying at a shrine onboard their carrier. At one point one of the pilots looks up and listens to a radio that was broadcasting from Hawaii. He listens and smiles.
It had to be in one of the many Pearl Harbor specials during the 50th anniversary of the attack. I'm thinking it might be on YouTube.
