I've always loved Josef Jacobs all black tripehound with the devil breathing fire on the fuselage particularly. Most people don't know that particular a/c have more victories scored than any other tripe, including Manfred's 425/17! In was destroyed by strafing Camels in 1918.
The black one in your pixs was his backup bird.

There's a flying reproduction of it in the UK. I took a piccie of it many years ago at Breighton in Yorkshire, dunno if it is still there.
