Junkers Jumo 211 identification

A friend sent me two photos of engine wreckage in a nearby barn.
It's clearly a Jumo 211. But do the casting numbers on the cylinder head allow us to determine more precisely which version it might be? Thanks in advance.

It looks like the cylinder head with control right and belonged to a group of parts of 400 series for the Jumo 211. The no 409 is not mentioned on the list found on the site ( the link below ) but it seems it could be either of the F/J BR 1 , F/J BR 2 or the N/P engine version. Using of the spark plug location you may narrow it down to the possible engine group. The info you may find in the list at the Baugruppe: Zylinderkopf section if you scroll the screen a little bit down and clickt the blue text there. Because the motor house number for the F/J BR 2 and N/P ends with "9" I mean the 9-211.109, I guess the cylinder head of the 9-211.409-001.2 could have been used for one of these engine variants.

Yes, the Baugruppe 409 (and the matched 419) for a later type Zylinderkopf is not shown in that table. I would expect that the 409/419 rechts/links parts are for a later version
or development that is not in this listing.

Thank you very much for this information, which I had been searching for without success.

It is indeed possible that this is a late version of the 211 F/J or N/P. The nearby airfield was occupied by Junkers Ju-88s between the end of 1942 and the summer of 1944.

Very nice. Yes, the 9.211.415 Left Zylinderkopf, for the JUMO 211-G/H as a pair with the 9.211.405 Right Zylinderkopf.
