Airman
Hi all,
does anyone have reliable data on this engine. In the net I found the most different statements - for example:
"The Jumo type designator "214" just seemed to be space holder for probable further developements of the Jumo 204 to Jumo 211, which have not been used for concrete developement." - wiki
"Jumo 214 ( alias 213C "kanonenmotor")" - secretprojectsforum
" flight engine with ring cooler developed by Junkers whose further advancement was not supported by the RLM"
The given performance data goes from 1600hp to 2300hp.
That's all pretty undefined!
So maybe someone can help with reliable data and the history of this engine.
PS: Was this engine, if there were trial engines, used in an FW-190 prototype?
regards and thanks in advance
