The last RAAF P-40 air to air kill was on 10 June 44 by a 78 sqn Kittyhawk. F/L Baker claimed one Tony (possibly a Judy) shot down near Japen Island Dutch New Guinea. 82 sqn RAAF made 3 ground kills on 8 Aug 45 at Kuching airfield whist 76 sqn claimed a damaged on the ground on 14 Aug 45 at North Keningau airfield in Borneo. From memory both the Egyptian and Dutch air forces were among post war users of the P40. I don't know how long theses old P40's were kept in use by these two air forces and I can not recall hearing of them having been involved in combat, but there is an outside chance that they may have been so perhaps worth checking out.
