For the petrol heads out there, this museum is a must see. It is privately owned and obvious have plenty of money. The result is a very good museum with a very special collection. It's rather big, the ambiance is great ( for instance, the restaurant looks like a '30ies street with an airship cabin and a tiger moth).

A couple of pics:

Until 1996, the Dutch trafic police used Porsche 911's, much better than the current Volkswagen Golf (Rabbit) that they are using now. There was a special exhibition about these cars and here you see two.

This one speaks for itself I think? The sign said that a bigger ashtray was installed for all the cigars Churchill smoked during WW2

The original Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. Everything is installed, bullet-prove panzer in the back two brownings in the front etc.

A royal Ferrari. Dutch prince Bernhard liked ferraries. This one was custom made for him.

One way to take your bike. This car can have one in the boot.

Some Rolls Royce of course:

Dutch car manufacturer Spyker made this important car in 1906. It was the first car to have a 6 cilinder block, the first with 4 wheel drive and, more importantly, the first which had a break on every wheel.

Another first, the first Toyota ever. Recently found at a farm in Russia:

They don't make them like they used to, this is a Talbot, would really like to have it.

Of course they had many more. Maybe I'll post some more later.

It is a Toyoda AA, built in 1936, a year before they changed the name.
As far is known, it's the only AA model to survive to this day. Louman found it in Wladiwostok in 2008 where a farmer had it. He had used it on the land, so it suffered much.

Thanks guys.

Another series. I won't write with all photos anymore, getting too much and some speak for themselves (read the signs). But you'll see that Dutch manufacturer Spyker is well represented. Of the 15 still existing cars from the original company, most are here in the museum, as well as a licence build Farman bi-plane that Spyker build. Spyker went bankrupt in the '20ies. There is now a sportscar manufacturer called Spyker, but tey only have the logo and the brand name. It is not the same company.

The strangest car they have is a Swan car which belonged to an Indian Marahadja. It can even sh!t like a swan and spews steam from his beak. Unfortunately I don't have a good photo of that one, but the Marahadja liked it so much, he build a smaller electric one for his garden. It is the first car manufactured in India and this one I have a picture of.

Well, enjoy..
(Edit, don't seem to be able to upload more than 10 pictures in a post, so I will post the next in a next post.
