Good Work, Clave. I've always wanted the Navy model, with the long barrel.
I heard there were over 1,000 Lugers that went down with the Bismark, some
of them presentation models from Hitler. [Drool]

Clave, I'm not a Luger collector, but I think most early Lugers made use of wood as the base of the magazine and finger knobs.

Oooo, don't forget the Artiller model luger, with the extra long barrel and fittings for a stock and the 32 round snail drum!

Clave, found these at an auction site. These are pre-WWII and unrestored (maintains max collector value).

Seems no doubt then.. very interesting, and unusual I'm thinking to have that part made of wood and nothing else...

Wouldn't you like to own them. As I recall, they weren't too expensive (all were about $1500USD and under. Not bad.
