Does that Hawaii Mars right behind the cockpit? Is this aircraft based out of Hawaii?

No both planes are based out of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island.

All the Mars planes were named after islands.

Unfortunately, the Hawaii Mars was lost in an accident in Chesapeake Bay on 5 August 1945.

A few days later the war was over, and the Navy decided they didn't need 20 JRM-1's after all. Five more Mars flying boats were completed instead: the "Philippine Mars", the "Marianas Mars", the "Marshall Mars", a second "Hawaii Mars", and the single "JRM-2 Caroline Mars", delivered in July 1947

No, Chris, the two Martin Mars are based in Canada. The main base of operations for Flying Tankers inc. is situated on Sproat Lake near Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. Integrated maintenance, operations and administration are housed in modern facilities and the company is virtually self-sufficient in all respects.
