The other one they own was repainted in it's original Navy scheme a few years back and was supposed to go to the National Naval Aviation Museum but funding for the move never materialized. Now it's supposed to be going to Pima Air Museum in Tucson, hope this move actually happens. Martin Mars - Pima Air & Space

A recent father's day visit to Naval Air Museum included a request to see those in the restoration hangar. I was told an appointment was needed, and although there were only three pickups in that parking lot, I decided not to try the doors as it would spoil the family outing. I also wanted to see those waiting out back, however they were mostly out of sight. I asked one of the guides about access to the unrestored planes and was told to come on Tuesday when The Blues were practicing as the fence gate would be open. As to when any of those waiting might be restored, I was told most would be scrapped or sold because of lack of funds. This could be why money was unavailable for the Mars.
