Hi guys

just built this ME109G-14 Peterle

Just starting to paint it ( not with the airbrush as i am waiting to see if i get a compressor of my sis for my b-day ) i am trying a little bit of dry brushing on it. Done a bit on the prop Will put pics up when i have finished the painting, decals, clear coat and varnish.

I'm trying to figure out the Mustang markings - which group? ot 8th AF or 354th in the 9th..

I was wondering about that too Joe. The 9B code was, as you know, the 436th FS of the 479th FG, but I don't recall ever seeing a checked rudder. Maybe the arist used a lot of artistic licence?
