Hi everyone!
Just to note that Peter Grieve is getting close to running his rebuild of the genuine shot-down Merlin XX from an HP Halifax. This rebuild is almost 100%
original parts from that one engine that lay in a German peat bog for 60+ years!
In this latest episode EP 19, he shows the basics of the original Rotol prop and blade fitting, the special trailer for transportation and running and the fitting of the engine into the trailer.
This series of video's is very detailed and possibly the most comprehensive video's of Merlin engine construction available anywhere, IMO.
Have a look at Peter's video's at www.youtube.com/@FlightEngineering1
I think this series of videos about the Merlin are great!
Cheers
