OK. I couldn't find any other images of the "White 55" ... I would say there is the 22 rockets and 165 / 164 bombs.

However the number of the rocket missiles and bombs applied in the profiles ...

Do you know the names of the colors that were used to paint Warsaw Pact MiG-23s?

For the Polish MiG 23 ...

1. Dark Green - FS 34052
2. Olive Green - FS 34097
3. Olive Drab - FS 34087 other sources claim here the FS 33303
4. Light Sky Blue or Dark Blue Grey for undersides FS 35622 or 35450, 35466.

The German one ... however the one seen in the pic seems to be repainted in the museum so these colours may be slightly incorrect in their tinges and look like the ones used by the Polish Air Force.

The German ones were ...

1. Drak green - FS 34052
2. Light Olive Green - FS 34172
3. Field Drab - FS 30118
4. Sky Light Blue - FS 35352

Why was the bottom of the MiG-23 painted in two colors?

Why was the bottom of the MiG-23 painted in two colors?

Actually it was the Russian way of painting. The rear part of the fuselage bottom was painted matt silver. And just in the way the fuselage was painted when the our Polish MiG-23 were delivered from the USSR. So it is the factory painting. I think it was because of the engine and the heating that affected the bottom part there. In a couple of pictures in may be noticed that the bottom stayed in the natural metal finish. Later because of the overhauling in a couple of counteries ( eg. DDR or Bulgaria ) the matt sliver was replaced with a grey colour. Because of the heating there and the paint fadding it changed its tinge often. It was similar to either the matt silver/aluminium/matal or the color of overheated sheet metal.

I am currently translating technical inscriptions on the MiG-23 from Russian into Polish. I have a question. How do you say "Осторожно соты! Не становится?" in Polish?
How I understood the first word "Uwaga"

"Осторожно соты! Не становится?"
Correct Russian text: "Осторожно, соты! Не становиться!" - small differences are crucial in this case.
Possible translation: "Uważaj na panel kompozytowy. Nie stój tutaj!"

Hi Stanislav,

The "Uwaga" in Russian is "Внимание !". So it is a warning.

"Осторожно соты! Не становится?" in Polish should be "Uwaga ! Nie stawać." Also it could be "Ostrożnie ! Nie stawać". But as memo serves the "X" and "Nie Stawać !" was applied on the Polish MiG-23 at all the places where the standing on was forbidden.

Wurger. I am currently translating technical inscriptions from Russian into Polish. Do you by any chance have any photos of the Polish Air Force MiG-23 with technical inscriptions?
I am guided by the photographs of the MiG-23MF from the Langerford Museum in Denmark.
But there are some places that I can't read because of the poor quality.

Unfortunately I'm not at home and can't access my references. So I can't help at the moment. But I'll try to find something more.

Here is the stenciling at the front of the cockpit. The starboard and port side.

PO MAPEŁMIEMU PRZEPOMPUJ...? In Russian it says "Залил жидкость-прокачай систему"

As far as I remember, you wrote earlier that you are from Poland. Could you translate a couple of sentences for me?
I think that your answer will be much more reliable than the answer from Google Translate

It is written there in Russian- "Подключение наземного гидронасоса и стравливание воздуха из гидробака"

Генераторы
постоянного
переменного
тока

Внимание!
При работающем двигателе
или при опробовании шасси
к створкам не подходить
