    The bottom photo is a 1952 publicity shot of the inside of a Lockheed Constellation
    Note the nose art on Bockscar depicting a mushroom cloud. Only one of two aircraft that can advertise that.

    A few more finds...last photo depicts Soviet air aces, perhaps somebody can elucidate who these people were

    Thank you. And now a few more. The Privateer we all owe a debt too, those of us who have an Atlantic Seaboard and beyond, for that type of aircraft did much to make life miserable for our Nazi friends during WW2. Equipped with radar and the range to carry those first crude radar sets out to the middle of the ocean and bomb and depth charge at will, no more freebie night time recharge of batteries in the dead of night while the subs were surfaced. A God Send to convoys.

    Liberator and Privateer mix of photos
    Photo 4 has nice shot of bombardier's position under front turret of a B-24
