i like the snipe and dolphin pics as those were 2 of the lesser heard aircraft of WW1 gnomey.

pisis your flying circus pics were amazing youre a lucky person to see them for real although theyre replicas.it would be fantastic if there were any authentic WW1 aircraft still flying :D

Its a facinating period and the planes are special and the people who went up in them.

Well here are a couple more

Somewhere I have a photo of the Bristol fighter which is an original from 1918.
For those who debate what is an original and what is a replica a quandry. The triplane was built in I think 1990 but it was built to the original plans in every way, using original techniques and materials. The Engine is an original from 1916.
So is it an original or a replica?
