This is the 1/72 academy fw190A8 "Heinrich Bär" My first 190 I've ever done. I painted it with Model air from Vallejo by brush. Guess the next thing I need to save up for is a Air brush again.

The only issues I had was with the wings, as the bottom was either too long or the tops was too short as there was quite a gap at the roots. So I used putty to try a close it. The other thing is I lost the first canopy, only found it when I stepped on it,and the version I wanted to do one of the decales shreaded on me so I had to make the second version.

As to the pictures some of them were taken with the camera set for outside shots and some were with the flash. Enjoy

Just correcting the spelling of the man's name

Nice work for a 'first'. The wing problem might have been partly to allow for dihedral, as it looks like it needs maybe a touch more, although hard to tell in the pics. Good work though.

TimE, good work on both. Didn't realize the scale until you put your hand in the pic. There is also a blackhole in my workroom here into which small parts constantly vanish never to be seen again.

Undoubtedly the wing dihedral is one of many incorrections of the kit that has to be corrected. But for a 'first' .... not bad at all. :)

Lets review:

putty on the fingers
steps on the canopy
shreds the decals

YOU ARE A MODELLOR!!! :)

Good looking build.
