She had been suffering with dementia symptoms for some time and over the past few months or so, maybe a year, she was basically immobilized and could barely speak at times. She died at home, which I suppose is better than most people, though it's still awful.
She started breathing abnormally (they call it a death rattle) at night on 6/1, and died in the afternoon of 6/2.
She was 94 years old.
