Hi everyone,
Just thought id show the prop blade from 2nd Lt. Jack Tuggle Jameson's P38F-5 photo recce version that crashed on 31st December 1943 after developing double engine failure. The aircraft crashed into the ground killing the pilot. This prop blade was one of many items recovered by the Severnside Aviation Society back in the 1980's. This blade had been in storage for the past 20 years in a garden shed in a sleepy Worcestershire village. I bought it direct from the digger a former member of the Severnside Aviation Society for £100. Have to say i love this piece so much!

Haven't forgotten the photos - snapped a tendon in my right hand. Just waiting for the swelling to go down, then I'll attempt to handle the book for scanning !
