Hi all,

Wondering if any of you kind folks can help me. I need a set of drawings for the carbs fitted to Napier Lion engines, they are Claudel Hobsen, cant recall the model number, even better would be a pair of carbs I could use to measure and make a pair from.

Any info or contacts gratefully recieved.

Thanks

Steve

Below are some drawings of the three-barrel Claudel-Hobson carburettor fitted to the later models of the Lion.
There are many drawings and photos of the carb. arrangements for the Lion but these are the only ones I could find that show some dimensions.

I came across this photo of a Napier Lion engine fitted with THREE separate carburettors.

It is probably one of the prototype engines.

Can anyone provide other views of this variant of the Napier Lion??

Hi, I have only just revisited this thread to find the last photo, it seems to be an early Mk 1 engine with the unusual triple carb layout and different inlet manifolds.
