Need help to ID Collins antenna
Found in desert over 25 years ago near airport. labeled as a Collins antenna. Old and heavy. 8” at the base. 10.5” to the curve and 20 inches long from the curve.
I know it is a 37R-1 VHF Antenna, Frequency range 118-136Mhz. Can anybody tell me what aircraft it was used on?

That antenna was put on several aircraft, I don't think its from WW2, might have been used on a Twin Beech C-45

Yep, seen several aircraft with that sort of antenna myself (post war civilian DC-3s, P-51s, and Beechcraft Staggerwings for example) though could also be from a more modern light aircraft.
