    got this from airwarfare
1C announced release of long awaited Pe-2 addon on April 7th. No, it is not April 1st joke. http://games.1c.ru/index.php Looks like rest of the world will get it on
    April 17th. The addon includes:

    4 modifications of Pe-2
    2 modifications of Pe-3
15 new objects: AAA, Heavy artillery and ground units.
4 new static campaigns for VVS (95 Missions) based on real encounters.
    66 skins
    8 B/W movies.

The PE-2 addon is the first of three to be released by July 2006 (expected date, not written in stone) The other addons will be IL-10 and VVs46. CrazyIvan explains the release strategy:

    1) The purpose of IL2 Collection DVD is to eliminate lack of component on the market that needed to have a full version ( FB, AEP, PF) IL-2 Gold collection contains all those components + all necessary patches UP TO VERSION 4.04
    2) Pe-2, IL-10 and VVS 1946 Addons were planned a while ago, and should be released before July of 2006, all 3 of them (one at the time, of course)
    3) As far as I understood, each next addon will have previous in it. For example: Pe-2 cpms out by itself, IL-10 will have Pe-2 included and VVS-1946 will have Pe-2 and IL-10 included.

Bottom line, my understanding is: you can buy one at the time: Pe-2, then IL-10 then VVS-1946, or you can wait till VVS 1946 which will have them all – it is strictly UP TO YOU. I will get an official word on it, be sure. OK?

These new add-ons will be in the form of discs that you'll have to buy. The days of the free patches for IL2/PF are over I'm afraid. I'll buy 'em if I see 'em though.

    Overview
Fly on the Eastern Front for the Red Airforce, Luftwaffe, Royal Air Force and the French Regiment Normandie-Niemen in 24 campaigns.

    Kurland
The Germans are retreating across Poland and the Baltic States when a bold Russian thrust cuts off the German Army Group North from the rest of the Wehrmacht, trapping hundreds of thousands of men.

The Germans re-establish a land corridor and continue their retreat but the Russians, aided by a French fighter regiment, reach the Baltic once again and this time there is no escape.

The Kurland pocket fights bitterly to the end of the war, isolated but impregnable.

    Murmansk
The northern Russian port of Murmansk is the only ice-free port available for the vital Lend-Lease convoy route.

The Germans are pressing closer and the Red Airforce fights tooth and nail to stop the bombers, aided by the RAF’s 151 Wing.

Slowly the tables are turned and the Russians start to advance on the German bases in Finland and Norway.

    Schlachtflieger
Bonus campaign, fly the Hs-123 biplane (uses Cr-42) in low-level strafing and bombing missions. The aircraft is well-suited to the Blitzkrieg of 1941 but how will it fare in 1944?

I'll get any of the discs I come across. I use FMB a lot too, and supposedly there'll be a bunch of new ground objects as well, along with some new troop positions. I also plan to buy BoB when it comes out, but for that I'll need a new rig. In another month or so I should (fingers crossed) have enough bills paid off to be better able to swing it. I can't friggin' wait either! :D

You can do it in the "edit profile" area, m8. Just look for the bit labelled "Custom User Title" near the top.

Only Mods can do it. :evil4:
