"The Scotmoose" - Everyone asks how it came about. Born in Montreal, but have lived most of my life in Scotland, with a bit of USA in the middle. So name really the start and finish of my life, but will not forget bit in the middle. Childhood very varied - Canadian by birth - left aged three because my Mum & Dad split up. Aged three to seven, lived Salina Kansas - Mum remarried - Step-Dad in USAF stationed at Schilling AFB. 1963-66 lived in Great Dunmow in Essex England - Dad stationed at RAF Wethersfield. 1966-67 lived at Edwards AFB in California - Dad in Vietnam. Mum & Dad split up. We moved to Mum's hometown of Kilmarnock - Mum remarried again. I have been resident here in Kilmarnock since 1967, apart from a seven year spell in Glasgow 1976-83. Love aircraft from all periods and was fortunate to see a lot while connected with the USAF. Basically my life story!
