    While the BoB was being fought by Fighter Command, there was a lot of other activity, not only bombing the channel ports but also Germany. Even aircraft such as the Battle & Blenhiem which had been handled very severely in the Battle of France were involved in the former. There was a series of articles in Scale Aircraft Modelling, I think, in the last year or so about this & aircraft involved in preparations to repel an invasion, which included Lysanders readying to dispense gas.:astonished:
