Hi I'm a working artist have been asked to paint nose art on a authentic WWII plane. I have fallen in love with the art work want to research it more before I start this project. Does anyone know of a museum that has planes that I can look at in person ? Thanks for any leads you can share. I'm in the Ct/ Mass area.Thanks!

Annie, the Collings Foundation has several WW2 aircraft in their museum, and its in Massachusettes. I know they like to put some nice "artwork" on their aircraft.
