Yes, there were two people standing next to the runway when the airplane came careening through. They ended up getting tossed to where the chopper had been parked and one seemed to fall over the embankment to the lower level where the other chopper is parked.

I am pretty sure that airfield is one I saw in a list of "Top Ten Most Dangerous Airports In the World" The view looking down the runway from one end is shocking, Land on main street in any small rural town in the USA and you'd be better off, with the possible exception of overhead wires.

Just did a quick check and found it to be Tenzig-Hillary (LUA) in Nepal and that wreck in the video occurred on 14 April of this year.
Three fatalities: co-pilot of the L-410 and two policemen (seen alongside the runway just prior to being struck).
Surprisingly enough, the pilot of the L-410 and Helicopter sustained only light injuries.

Yes, that is the one! Take a look. Drive down the runway and fall off the end!
And it is at 8000 ft MSL as well. And to think that some people say Catalina is bad.

I flew out of Torrance but never went into there. A guy who lived in the same apartment complex as I did got killed there in 1983.

Santa Paula is a charming little airport but is a bit tricky as well. I drove by there one day and wondered why they were landing so far down the runway, Then I walked around a bit and realized that no, they were putting it on the numbers.

No personal knowledge but according to this video it is #1 on this list of potentially deadly airfields
