On The Way to a Birthday Party

This restored P-51 was photographed over the Cascade mountains on the way to Bud Anderson's 100th Birthday Party.

As I understand it, this was the P-51 recovered from a lake in FL and rebuilt, a process not unlike finding a radiator cap and building a car to fit it. Note that they have added the fin extension seen on later C models.
