Who else is dis-gus-ted at the endless blathering of Internet Experts who pontificate about the Corsair's "unique" curving approach to a carrier landing

The British Taught Us How To Fly Corsairs.

I don't know how many others knew members of the first three F4U squadrons, but I did including two COs.
Here's a Revelation;
EVERY carrier aircraft flew a curving approach to the groove astern of the ship.
