    Took these about two years ago. Made for me by the same mate who made my P-51D Mustang. With a 16'' wingspan that's big enough for my place.

    Many thanks chaps, I'll let the maker of this know. So many people over the years, for whom he's made models for have told him that he could make a living from this work, along with his paintings and sketches etc, but he just doesn't want to !!? Fair-enough !
    This particular B-17 42-31767 EP + E was in the 351st Bomb Squadron of the 100th BG. Based at Thorpe Abbotts, Norfolk. After flying 100 plus missions with the ''Bloody Hundredth'' it returned to the United States and was stored at Kingman, Arizona. Later along with many others it was un-ceremoniously scrapped.
